- Phases: 3-Phase (415V standard operating voltage).
- Poles: 4-Pole configuration (Switches the 3 live phases plus the Neutral line completely, mitigating earthing loop problems and stray currents).
- Control Mechanism: Motor-driven internal rotary mechanism paired with electronic sensing logic.
- Operation Modes: Dual modes (Auto and Manual) governed by a physical selector switch and an integrated manual bypass handle.
- Normal Power Input (Utility Grid): Connect the primary grid lines—Phase A (Red), Phase B (Yellow), Phase C (Blue), and Neutral—through a dedicated 4-pole circuit breaker directly into the “Normal Power” side of the ATS.
- Emergency Power Input (Generator/Inverter): Connect the secondary power lines to the corresponding terminals on the “Emergency Power” side of the ATS.
- Load Output Terminals: Tie the unified load outputs from the switch directly to your facility’s main distribution board breaker.
- Source Prioritisation: The internal control circuit defaults strictly to the utility side. When the grid drops, the motorized arm transitions to the emergency terminal. Once utility power returns, the switch automatically rolls back to the primary line, even if your backup source is still running.
